Fickle Winds

Dave, VE3KCL, has launched yet another balloon experiment. This one, now in its third day, is taking a different path to any of those we've seen before.

Right now it's being heard in Sweden. You can look for it on the wsprnet web page and try to hear it on WSPR and/or JT9 on 30m.

  2. Hi Dave - yes, I noticed that on the site this morning, and it's a nice new feature. Before I've tried to imagine what the real path was instead of the straight line at night. Having the NOAA prediction is better, for sure. This looks like an interesting flight and I wondering whether it will turn South and follow yesterday's path or head over to Europe now.

Thanks for stopping by. 73, Chris.
