For the first time in 30 years, there will be a "
Supermoon" eclipse tonight, as the Moon is closer to the Earth than usual. The eclipse will begin at 8:11 pm with the
penumbra of the Earth first appearing on the moon, while the
umbra begins to cross at 9:07 pm and reach its maximum at 10:47.
The eclipse will finish well after midnight. Too bad it's on a week night.
